I gave first FP on 9/28 and lat month I took info pass and the officer raised a SR for non delivery of cards to which I got a reply that my card might have lost in mail. I called USCIS who mentioned that my card was never created and now it will be created. Now my online status changes mentioning that I have been sent FP notice again. I called uscis again and mentioned that I already gave biometrics
The officer said it was erroneous so ignore the FP notice and he will be requesting CPO for me. I even called FBI FP line today to confirm that my first FP was fine and they said it was fine and uploaded

I have filed for the 7nth year extension based on my pending labor (365 days old). The perm is picked up for an audit. Incase if the perm is denied, will h1b also be rejected ?

In my opinion I think we should get the news guys into this and get the information out there about the irresponsibility with which they have mismanaged the whole process. Such kind of problems usually grab headlines when it happens with US citizens.
I think we need to be heard. Imagine, insurance companies violating makes news, social security makes news, airport security regulations and mismanagement makes news _ WHY CANT THIS? THIS IS SO CRUEL. HOW MANY HOURS, MONEY, EFFORT HAS GONE DOWN THE DRAIN? CAN WE NOT GET SOME NEWS CHANNEL TO COVER THIS? SOMEONE TO SPEAK TO A JOURNALIST ABOUT HOW AWFUL IT HAS BEEN????
THIS HAS ALL THE ELEMENTS OF PAIN, AGONY, AND DECEIT. Please comment. Only when we do this, will we get the EB numbers to get increased. Only then , the lawmakers will get up and smell the coffee. LEGAL IMMIGRANTS AND WHAT DO WE GET AFTER OBEYING THE LAW? MISMANAGEMENT THROWN AT OUR FACE.

I filed 485 last july and want to file EAD now. I had FP done last year. If I do efiling for EAD will I have to go to ASC for photos. I saw in other posts that they have linked Biometrics but what abt the photos ?

My wife currently is on an H1-B visa and she also has EAD/AP based on my I-485 filing. Due to personal reasons she plans to quit her job soon (next 2-3 weeks or so). What will be her status? Should we be filing COS to H-4? Can we get a RFE for proof of her employment when I-485 is processed?

Hi friends,
I got my I-140 approval in premium processing. But unfortunately, USCIS printed the new labor filing date (2010) when the attorney requested my I-140 to capture the old priority date which is June2004. My law firm already contacted USCIS to issue a revised notice with the old priority date (June2004).
How long does USCIS take to issue a revised I-140? Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Anything that we can do to expedite the release of the new I-140 notice with correct priority date?
Please let me know when you get a chance

New filing fees were applicable from 7/30. Do all applications(485/131/765) whose PD is current need to filed with the new fees starting from 7/30? Or till 8/17 it can be filed with the old fees?
