Guys wait till you see "real" bulletin and even if mirror to what has been placed to Mumbai Consulate, EB3 will forward perhaps slowly now but picking up. EB3-India with PD 2004 mid and before will not have to worry that much.
With all these new developments I am not sure it will really move any faster. May be after october 08 we may see some considerable movement in EB3.Mine is March 03. Hope fully I will get my GC by next summer, 09 summer.

140 receipt notice is not a part of the intial evidence ....
So if we show everything else that our 140 application was accepted by USCIS, they may later ask for a receipt ......

This is essentially what we got in July07, and this can be a great pain relief. Since it was done in July07, there is already a precedent for it?? Would it be an administrative fix then? Just a note , IV already has this as one of the things we are working to change in law, but I was wondering if it could be admin only fix.
This is different from what was done in July 2007. Back then all PD was current. This is to grant the ability to file AOS even when the PD is NOT current

i think this is the same guy who created a huge fuss on july 2nd when we found out that all 485s will be rejected and said that we all deserve it since we did not "remember" people in pbec.

Thanks for an encouraging eyeopener. Now that people are using their freedom of speech and figments of imagintion vividly, let me use mine too, with a bit of humor.
Unfortunately only EB(I) will be able to associate with this, so apologies in advance to others.
It's 2018. Two indians, namely Ajay and Vijay meet in a grocery store aisle. Ajay inadvertently drops a carton of tea and Vijay try's to help pick it up. They exchange nicieties, shake hand and WHOA... Ajay noticed that Vijay's got a big EB2 tatto on his forearm...Without a moments delay, Ajay folds his sleeve and shows his own EB2 forearm tatto to Vijay. Ajay and Vijay become friends forever....
On the same evening.....Seeta and Geeta are shopping for tamarind in a nearby aisle....for some reason (I cant be more vivid than this) they notice eachothers tatto's; one has EB3 and one has EB2..........CATFIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Morale of the story : Lets stop the drama and get busy helping ourselves..if you want the above scenes not to translate to reality....
Can't we all just enjoy lessons taught to us by Bollywood......If you have hard time coming to terms with the above scenes , please close your eyes and go back 30 yrs into
indian cinema....

aman kapoor is the president and founder of iv- of course you can argue he now has his GC but that fact is he is still the heart and soul of iv and runs the organization on a day to day basis. he is EB3.

What is the new expdate on your new card (if you already have it in your hand)? dose the 1 year ext is from the last date of your current/old card? or 1 year from the date the new card was approved.

Same here ... for EAD and AP (for me or dependent) my company does not reimburse these fees. They will however reimburse if I have to use EAD to work due to unavoidable H1 extension issues/ inability to extend beyond 6 yrs etc. I think that is a fair and reasonable policy in general
what I mean to say is, if i do self filing my employer will not reimburse it and if fragomen files it then fragomen gets directly paid by my employer.

Lecture is needed whenever the expert forgets. And you did use it first in this "discussion". Not mentioning past here. When at fault, just listen up to the music. And I repeat, it's not personal. Personally, I would like nothing better than associate in cooperative spirit and stop all childish bickering.
When Seniors like you get down to using expletives, you are doing something like what Manmohan did when fighting against Advani. He simply lost his own respect. Get me? I consider you as seniors. Dont let that balance be disturbed, for everyone's sake.

My two friends are leaving.
They are completing six years. Their labour is approved. but I 140 is not approved.
They applied for their labour in sixth year.
Due to retrogression they are unable to apply for I 485 and EAD. They are working as DB2 DBA's.
They choose last option to leave the USA.

I don't know if any one has noticed or would agree with me. But based on the numbers I feel USCIS is the real bottleneck in EB green card. They have somewhere around 250,000 EB visas available per year for the last severel years, but they were issuing only around 80,000 EB visas per year.
I bet they have only issued around 120,000 EB visas in the year 2006 (Oct 2005 - Sept 2006), even though the quota is around 250,000. (140,000 direct + 100,000 from family other category).
Unless we do something to fix this bottleneck, most of us are not going to see the GC. Even if the Congress raise the EB quote to 1 million per year with out any country quota, it all boils down to USCIS's usage of those available visas.

Now its our chance of how to get the opening bigger. We were successful by doing a flower campaign. We got to do more. The slot should be made more and more wider and should lead us to green card.

I think bribing would mean IV paying people to come to the rally...! Here we ar eonly registering them...
On second thoughts, we could collect $30 or so for food and bring lunch packets.. and forget the reimbursement part..!

Great going IV. I know we'll succeed this time. I can smell it. Just called and the lady took the message. Took less than a minute. I've also contacted my local rep.
