So are you judging all of India's education by the IIT's? I didn't graduate from IIT and so didn't 99.9% of Indian IT people.
I can tell you for a fact that Universities in America are much better than those in India. This is why I came here and I went to an average university here which I could afford.
What Professor-ji said in the video was that Indians were successful DESPITE the poor education they received in India. India is becoming a world superpower in research and development DESPITE this. I believe this is true. Indians know how to compete and will be world leaders because they work hard and think smart.

Hi All,
My attorney and company (both) received copy of Approval Notice. One thing I noticed is Priority Date on Approval Notice is my EB3 Priority Date( October 2003 ). I think some kind update (porting) has happened. I have not seen any change in LUD on my I-485. This is just to update all and hope this information may be useful to someone.

Villamonte - the laws are such that USCIS cannot screw up much for ROW, especially if they are not in EB3. I hope you are not gloating much about your luck. However, you cannot extrapolate your fortune to say that USCIS is an efficient organization.
However, the laws are such that USCIS does screw up a lot with EB2 & 3 for India and China. They have to play games of predicting visa number availability between two departments (DOS & USCIS). They completely screw up the FIFO for Indians and Chinese within Indian & Chinese applicants. Luckily the FBI namecheck nightmare is over which will restore some sanity. There are many people who have to wait for years due to USCIS inefficiency.
I know an Indian case where PD was current and USCIS screwed up. He had to sue USCIS to get it fixed.
D.E.D is such a numbskull retard that he doesn't understand these concepts. All he harps is that you cannot investigate USCIS and USCIS awards H1B. The greatness of American democracy is that even a foreigner can ask the courts to investigate the wrongs a govt organization has done to them. In fact most democracies around the world allow that.

I have a suggestion! I don't think forcing monthly $25 contribution to keep donor status alive is a very good idea, especially in current economy. Take an example of myself. It is decided that I am going to loose job on 17th March, may not be able to contribute every month.

This is going to be the biggest problem because in US, we have a foundation for debt based economy (SSN, credit history, Credit score, credit ratings etc.) If you default the payment, you will have an effect and there will be an impact on future credit applications. There is nothing of this sort in India and the politicians will not allow such things to be setup as well. So essentially back to my point. Banks who lend money are at bigger risk of loosing it. There is nothing that they can do to report on consumer's default or fraud for that matter.
Now per say consumer dump the property or bank attaches it for non payment of loan amount, Bank will be stuck with properties worth 1/4th for those crores that they loaned to people, maintenance will cost them more to prepare it for sale.
In any account, there is a big problem ahead there.

Additionally the L1-EB1 route as multinational manager is very much alive and well, and is arguably the preferred and probably only viable route for any Indian prospectively attempting to immigrate to the USA. The numbers of such applicants might be larger than we know. If anyone has any data on that and specifically about the change in those numbers ever since retrogression hit, please post it.
In all honesty, I know the guys applying anew need a little hope and encouragement, but with perhaps 300K people and rising ahead of you in the EB India queue and slim to none chance of EB expansion in the near term, what are the odds of getting through that line in the next decade?

I am not sure if more money would have passed the bill in Lame Duck session without Senator Session approving it. Also, the lawyers ask only for the service they render to you. They dont ask money for keeping your application with them and unable to process because of retrogression.

They are very prompt in answering questions.Such posts will only create roadblocks to the momentum created on the forum by some of our members. It is time to help rather than ask.
